Trench Plate® Rental Co (TPR) and Martin Harris Construction worked together to bring water to two new schools for the Clark County School District. The work was done on Hollywood Street and Charleston Blvd, in Las Vegas and entailed the installation of 20” and 12” pipe to supply water for the new schools currently being built.
TPR’s traffic equipment and services were used to guide traffic safely through the work sites. TPR provided a multitude of traffic rental equipment, in addition, TPR provided Site Assessment, Temporary Traffic Plans (21 sheets), Set-up, Monitoring of the set-up, and relocation of the equipment as the project moved forward. Traffic was realigned for pedestrians, cars and for public safety and to allow the contractor the needed workspace for the 4700’ of dual pipeline installation.
In addition to the assistance with Traffic, Trench Plate® Rental Co supplied the contractor with plates, shores, and manhole boxes to help the contractor in providing a safe work environment for their jobsite and workers. The pipeline was installed in 8’ wide and 3’ wide excavations with the use of TPR’s Shoring Equipment to protect the workers and maintain a high level of production.
A second phase of the project consists of electrical conduit work. The completion of this project will help supply electricity to the new schools. TPR is working with Martin Harris Construction to provide Traffic and Excavation safety on this phase as well.
